All 15 bedrooms at Links House have been individually designed and appointed to accentuate their generous size, unique character and views.
The Courtroom is a buzzing café, bar and brasserie offering everything from coffee and yummy cakes to fresh, locally-sourced dishes and craft ales.
The Highlands is the most magical, beautiful and yes remote of the five major golf regions in Scotland yet perhaps in terms of consistent quality, variety and challenge it is the best.
From your base at Links House a number of the very best golf courses Scotland (or indeed the world!) has to offer are within easy reach.
Although we can tailor packages to suit your personal preferences, we'd like to suggest:
Arrive in Scotland where you will be met by one of the Morton Golf team and escorted to your vehicle. Next stop, Tain. The links were originally laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1889, initially over 15 holes, then down to 12 before moving to 18 holes in 1894. Overlooking the Dornoch Firth, Tain arguably offers one of the best settings imaginable in the highlands for a round of golf. With sea on one side and the backdrop of the mountains behind, every day brings a different aspect to this challenging and beautiful course. After your round, check into the 5-star Links House at Dornoch for 3 nights.
Golspie was designed by James Braid with a beguiling mix of classic links, heath and parkland holes. The course has stunning views from all holes of the Dornoch Firth on one side and the backdrop of Ben Bhraggie on the other. A course that will live long in the memory.
Another golf course with the influence of James Braid, Brora is an amazing links golf course with stunning views and a classic 'out and back' layout with the front nine hugging the North Sea coast.
Check out of Links House and take the short walk to the first tee at Royal Dornoch. Simply put, Royal Dornoch is one of the very best golf courses in the world. The experience is one to be savoured. The plateaued, domed greens have become a trademark of Donald Ross (at one time the head greenskeeper and professional) which he took with him to Pinehurst No. 2.
